I'm a health and fitness editor, and ACE-certified personal trainer living in PA—more specifically, the cute neighborhood of Easton in the Lehigh Valley. I moved back to Pennsylvania after more than a decade in the Big Apple, where I moved after graduation from Syracuse University.

I currently work at Runner’s World and Bicycling publications, leading the health & fitness team. Before that, I wrote for Health, Men’s Journal, Shape, Insider, and Livestrong (to name a few). And I also penned a newsletter, called The Final Rep, all about fitness. (Click here to subscribe.)

When I'm not writing about fitness, I'm leading others through personal training and semi-private training online. (Let’s train together!) And when I’m not at my computer, I’m probably very literally running or riding around PA.

Personally, I ran my first marathon in NYC in 2016 and it was perhaps one of the best days of my life, so I did it again in 2019 (in Philly), 2021, and 2024. (I wrote about marathoning a few times here and here.) I’ve also hiked two 14ers in Colorado, managed to cross the finish line of two sprint triathlons (though my swimming is not pretty), and I’ve climbed the rock walls of Joshua Tree National Park. I’m always up for more adventures!

Professionally, I’ve broken down the science on everything from protein and antibiotics to training techniques and run form. I’ve interviewed athletes, everyday runners, and celebrities.

I’m passionate about sharing factual, helpful, and engaging information that advances the conversation and clears up confusion. I’m also driven to help brands I believe in develop a content strategy that engages consumers and tells a powerful story.

Beyond creating content, I also help individuals in one-on-one and group fitness settings find their strength.

I’d love to tell your story or help you write a new chapter. Send me a note—let’s get to work!
